How does Stackpack handle accruals?

Last updated: September 18, 2025

Stackpack’s accrued view reflects the sum of journal entry debits to expense accounts, only when those debits are tied to a vendor. This shows how much expense is being recognized per vendor per month, based on how your accounting team books accruals

We intentionally omit journal entry credits because they typically represent the offsetting side of an accrual or prepaid entry — such as credit to a prepaid asset or credit to accrued liabilities. Since Stackpack’s focus is on vendor-level expense recognition, balance sheet movements (i.e., credits) are excluded.
